Kind of a touristy location. But had a great time! I'll go back next year too!

An exploratory visit here turned out to be a surprising and fun afternoon. The canal actually operates when there is enough water and there is a canal boat, a real train, a grist mill, and many stores and shops (some very quirky in a good way) to visit. Not your typical roadside attraction.

A great small town gem that is overlooked a lot. My whole family had a great time and learned a lot about our history. Even caught a glimpse of some baby ducks hanging out by the canal.

Very fun place to visit for adults and kids. Lots to see and do with plenty of places to get a bite to eat too. You can make a short trip or a whole day of it depending on how you go about looking and experiencing things especially during all the special events hosted throughout the year.

Festive for the Christmas Season and fun to walk around the little village and pop into shops, but some closed before 10pm.
